Why go electric? A web page designed for answers.

To support the global shift toward electrification, Ford Pro™ Europe developed a dedicated space for businesses exploring their options. This hub highlights the practical advantages of an electric fleet and explains what ownership looks like in practice.

The goal was to provide a reliable resource that answers key questions like range anxiety, helping fleet managers plan for a more efficient future with confidence.

Step 1 & 2

Switching an entire fleet to electric can be a challenge. With new European legislation and the 2035 goals on the horizon, the why is clear, but the how can still feel a bit overwhelming. That’s why education is key. Taking the mystery out of things like range anxiety, charging cost of ownership can turn those big worries into simple, manageable steps.

The goal of the Electrification Hub was to help fleet managers get comfortable with electric vehicles and keep their businesses future-proof.

Some constraints around audience needs, legislation, design and consistency with global electrification material further shaped the experience.

Step 3

The story of the Electrification Hub was build around getting answers.

The idea of the story was to begin with empathy. From there, a dive into why electric is explains the options (the Why). The path to getting an electric vehicle walks the user through the steps needed and how Ford Pro™ is there to support (the How). Finally, we share some real-life success stories show what’s possible and make sure everyone knows we’re always here to help with those final questions.

Steps 4, 5 & 6

The story the hub landing page was build around giving people clear answers to big questions.

Moving to electric can feel a bit daunting, so we meet our users with empathy and offer support across all the big topics. For those who feel ready to start their journey, the next steps are clear and easy to find. If someone isn’t quite there yet, we share some of the most compelling reasons why making the switch is worth considering.

But what happens if electric is not yet in the cards? No problem. Plug-in hybrids as a great middle ground, offering many of the benefits of electric without needing to go all-in right away.

Next, a suite of practical tools help businesses find their own pace, from range calculators and cost-of-ownership trackers to software and financing.

Lastly, success stories and further questions answered button up the experience.

Steps 7, 8 & 9

When all was said and done, copy and imagery, subject matter experts checked the content for product-related accuracy and the legal team checked for any culprits. Once all was signed off, it was time for one final copy and imagery, and then voila! The Electrification Hub is live.
