Web copy for Splyt

Challenge

A complex business model makes it difficult for people to understand how it works and, more importantly, what they are paying for. The challenge in this project was to convey this information in way that is easy to comprehend. The key here was not only to avoid jargon, but also to tell a straight-forward story.

Context

Splyt was a London-based startup that provides a global mobility marketplace. Their roaming API platform connects offer and demand of transportation across the world. Splyt needed a new clearer web experience for which I created the copy. My task was to find the right words to describe the business.

Process

Every journey starts with a good preparation.
At first, I was walked through the business model. After a bit of individual research, I came back with questions.
The next step was to check the sanity of the user journeys and wireframes. Here, I worked together with the UX designer and the CRO.
Finally, I wrote the copy, got feedback and discussed the final version of the text.

Result

At the end of our collaboration, on their website, the company website offered a much clearer overview on the business proposition, as well as the team behind it.

Please use the contact form with confidence.

Thank you,
