Experience means 'observation as a source of knowledge'. It can entail many things – audience research, wireframing, user journeys, service mapping and finally, web writing.
Ideally, when starting a project, brand guidelines exist. But if they don't, I get to work and help shape them. It's a very immersive and useful exercise for both myself and my client.
Writing for the aerospace
Paradoxically, aerospace engineering is why I got into copywriting. A good deal into my PhD thesis, I understood that numerical schemes and words are two worlds apart. I believe it doesn't have to be this way. So, in everything I do, I am trying to bridge that gap. And sometimes I am lucky enough to go back to the mothership through my work.
